Chef Jeremy Pacheco Returns to the Hermosa Inn
After leaving the Valley of the Sun for a two-year stint in Las Vegas as the executive chef of Society Café Encore/Wynn Las Vegas, Jeremy Pacheco is returning to his home state and to the culinary helm of The Hermosa Inn, LON’s at the Hermosa and Last Drop at the Hermosa.
“The food scene in Arizona continues to flourish and I look forward to being a part of that again,” said Pacheco. “Taking LON’s culinary program to the next level, while also utilizing all that Arizona has to offer within the farm-to-table movement, will be an exciting next step.”
Having held the position of executive chef at The Hermosa Inn for three and a half years prior to his move to Las Vegas, Pacheco will be returning to the boutique resort and its renowned restaurant to revitalize the culinary program, expand upon the garden-to-table philosophies he previously instituted and expand upon the Last Drop brand as the resort undergoes expansion.
“Jeremy knows the property’s identity and has helped shape LON’s into the culinary centerpiece it is today,” said The Hermosa Inn’s Managing Director Michael Gildersleeve. “Amidst new ownership and upcoming changes to the property, including a new lobby, entryway and expansion to LON’s patio, we are looking forward to him returning and continuing to build upon the ongoing legacy of our culinary program.”
A ninth generation Arizonan whose family farm supplies wheat to make pastas in the LON’s kitchen, Pacheco brought the farm-to-table experience to life at LON’s, in addition to raising the restaurants’ culinary standards, when he first held the executive chef position in 2010. After gaining celebrity status during his two stints in Las Vegas as a chef for the Encore and Wynn properties, Pacheco now returns to his roots and his position as executive chef of The Hermosa Inn, LON’s and Last Drop at the Hermosa.
