Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen is excited to be celebrating its 70th Anniversary officially on Monday, September 26, 2016. With seven decades of serving the great state of Arizona, Macayo’s has become an iconic piece of living history in the community. From its modest start at the Johnson’s six table restaurant named Woody’s El Nido in 1946 to its flourishing 13 locations today across Arizona and Nevada, Macayo’s has strived to always share the best Mexican cuisine with its guests.
In honor of Macayo’s founder Woody Johnson and his wife Victoria, all Arizona Macayo’s locations will be celebrating this milestone occasion by sharing two of Woody’s all-time favorite menu items for $0.70 each. That’s right, on Monday, September 26th all dine-in guests will enjoy Macayo’s classic shredded beef tacos and red cheese enchiladas for only $0.70 each!
Under the direction of Sharisse Johnson, CEO and Woody & Victoria’s daughter, Macayo’s looks forward to another 70 years. “Our official anniversary is September 26th and we are very excited to celebrate with the community and honor my father and our heritage,” exclaimed Sharisse. “We can’t wait to hear all of the stories and create new memories!”
