A local men’s salon is holding its first beard and mustache contest to help raise funds for a local non-profit. Keep It Cut presents the 2016 Mr. Stache Competition on Saturday, November 5 during the Scottsdale Grand Prix Gatsby Lawn Party. Awards will be given for Best in Show, Best 1920s Themed Stache, Best Mustache, and Best Beard. Winners will receive memberships to Keep It Cut, localsalons that offer unlimited men’s haircuts for a flat monthly rate.
Participation in the contest is free with entry to the Gatsby Lawn Party. Tickets start at $40 for a single day or $60 for a two-day pass. Proceeds of the Lawn Party benefit Southwest Human Development that serves 135,000 children and families in Arizona through early childhood literacy programs. To enter the contest, purchase your Saturday, November 5 ticket to the Gatsby Lawn Party, then arrive at the main stage at 2:00 pm. The contest begins at 2:30pm.
