On Saturday, October 13, from 6:30-8:30, West Valley Irish pub and sports destination Padre Murphy’s will be celebrating with an anniversary soiree featuring 25-cent champagne, 25-cent beer (including Bud, Bud Light, Ultra, Miller Lite and Coors Light Drafts), live music and giveaways.
“I can’t believe it has been 25 years since opening night,” said owner Tom Boyle. “Thinking back on all of the expansions we’ve done, the St. Patrick’s Day parties, the fish fries, the Derby days, the memorabilia on the walls; it’s been a wondrous ride. Peggy and I have been beyond grateful to be such a long-standing part of the community with such loyal patrons and are forever indebted to our amazing employees who worked so hard to make Padre Murphy’s what it is today.”
Opened by Tom and Peggy Boyle in 1993, the pub has become a West Valley institution; a sports destination for horse-racing fans, off-track betting and AZ sports, a family eatery featuring fresh food daily, a late-night hot spot featuring live music, 56 beers on tap and one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day parties in the Valley.
