On Friday, March 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel hosts a pop-up event designed to help budding artists channel their inner creativity. The Drink and Draw event features artist Jim Mahfood, aka Food One, who has worked in the fields of illustration, advertising, murals, fine art, animation, live art in nightclubs, and custom body-painting. Mahfood has worked for every major comic book company including Marvel Comics and clients such as Disney, Armani, Nissan, NBC, Sony, Comedy Central, TIGI, MTV, Mad Magazine, Heavy Metal, and more. 

Guests are invited to bring their favorite drawing materials and paper and become inspired by Mahfood’s expertise as well as other local artists.
