Savvy Cocktail Class at UnderTow: Daniele Dalla Pola

Join UnderTow for a series of 90-minute tiki classes and learn to mix up some of the best cocktails in the country. In December, UnderTow welcomes special guest world-famous tropical mixologist Daniele Dalla Pola. Daniele is Italian born and has become a masterclass mixologist after spending most of the his early career in "cool" and crowded bars in Miami, receiving awards in 1997 for the best cocktail according to the Miami News Time Magazine. His lab, "Nu Lounge Bar" (located on the site of Piazza Maggiore in Bologna) has been added to the top 100 bars in the world by Drinks International Magazine, and this year has also received an award for the Best Italian Rum Bar. Daniele has been awarded as the 'Best Bartender' for the rum category in the Madrid International Rum Fest, and has been nominated as one of the 'Best International Bartenders of the Year' at Tales of the Cocktail. In 2011, during the 42nd Edition of the "Below Cocktail World Cup - New Zealand", the Italian Team with Daniele achieved the title of "world champion" performing his masterpiece cocktail called "Elisir D'Amore".
