Indian Wells Golf Resort Set for Exciting 2025 Season
Coachella Valley Destination Offers World-Class Championship Golf, Exceptional Dining Experience at ‘Kestrel’ Richard Blais Signature Restaurant
(PRESS RELEASE) – Indian Wells Golf Resort – the world-class golf, vacation, culinary and events destination located in the picturesque Coachella Valley – is offering its guests a premier golf and dining experience for 2025 alongside the exciting news of hosting the Epson Tour Championship, the PGA National Club Championship and the renovation of its acclaimed Players Course.
Currently, guests can enjoy peak golf conditions on both the Celebrity and Players courses before the latter closes for a significant renovation project in March. Noted golf course architect John Fought is at the helm of the project as he returns to complete his vision for the Players Course 18 years after initially constructing the layout which has become one of the top public courses in both California and the U.S.
Most significantly, the planned structural changes of the Players Course will include a relocation of the 17th and 18th holes to the same side of the Whitewater Wash as the rest of the course. Additional highlights include a refresh of all the greens, tees and bunkers throughout the 18. When completed, the results will greatly enhance the playability of the layout while also preparing it for its future role as host of elite professional golf championships.
Following the success of the season-ending finale at the Players Course last year, the Epson Tour Championship (Oct. 2 – 5) will be contested once again at Indian Wells Golf Resort in 2025 with the Celebrity Course playing host to the talented field of professionals while the Players Course remains under renovation.
Two months later, the Celebrity Course will again serve as the venue for elite competition with the nation’s top amateur club champions competing in the 2025 PGA National Club Championship. Comprising six divisions, each competing in a three-day, 54-hole stroke play competition, the National Club Championship will be contested at both Indian Wells Golf Resort and PGA West. The women’s competition takes place on Dec. 6 - 8 and the men’s competition on Dec. 13 - 15.
“Our team is excited for what will be a significant year in the history of Indian Wells Golf Resort,” says Robin Graf, General Manager. “The renovation of the Players Course, the PGA Club National Championship and the return of the Epson Tour Championship mark major developments for our resort and our goals for the future, while our Richard Blais signature restaurant Kestrel has been receivig rave reviews since opening late last year.”
While the Players Course will be closed beginning in early March, the Celebrity Course will remain open throughout the year. Guests can take full advantage of several stay-and-play packages in conjunction with nearby Indian Wells hotels to experience the same exceptional golf experience that players have come to expect from the popular destination.
Graf continues, “While it will be a very busy year for us, we take great pride in continuing to provide a top-tier golf experience for all of our guests, and we welcome everyone to enjoy the superb Celebrity Course while the Players is under renovation.”
Designed by architect Clive Clark and colloquially referred to as “Beauty,” the Celebrity Course features aesthetically pleasing water features, colorful wildflowers and narrow corridors placing an emphasis on shot making. The 7,000-yard par-72 was recently named one of the “50 Most Popular Courses in the U.S.” by GOLF Channel’s GOLFPass.
Off the golf courses, Indian Wells Golf Resort recently unveiled Kestrel, its much-anticipated new and exciting Richard Blais signature restaurant. An award-winning author, restaurateur, and co-star of the hit FOX show “Next Level Chef,” Blais brings his signature flavor and flair to the new-look gourmet eatery located on the top floor of the stunning clubhouse.
