BYOB at Atlas Bistro
We're joining friends tonight at Atlas Bistro, and I can't wait. We've been there before, but this will be the first time with Chefs Cory Oppold and Juan Zamora in the kitchen. A bonus is it is BYOB. My contribution will be a Quintarelli Bianco Secco Ca' del Merlo, a dry Italian white (a blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Saorin grapes) and a Viña Tondonia Rosé Gran Reserva 2000, a barrel-aged Spanish rose (a blend of 30% Tempranillo, 60% Garnacho, and 10% Viura). Our generous wine aficionado friends have a fantastic collection, and they're bringing a Camille Saves Grand Cru Brut Rosé Champagne, a 1982 Cune Rioja Viña Real Reserva, and a 1997 Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico. We are in for a feast.
