Join Chefs Frank Gama and Victor Aguilera for two special pop-up collaboration dinners highlighting Phoenix’s local farmers while elevating traditional Venezuelan and Latin American cuisine and creating high-quality experiences through cannabis and non-cannabis infused dishes.
Frank Gama has made his mark on the culinary world with time spent at Cafe Monarch in Arizona and Atelier Crenn in California. While at Crenn, the restaurant was recognized as 35th best restaurant in the world and was awarded three Michelin stars. Most recently at Michelin-starred Sorrel in San Francisco, Gama is looking forward to a return to Aritzona. “My goal is to return to Phoenix and share my own cuisine using the experience, techniques and lessons I have learned along the way. My food is simple; elegant, but unpretentious, approachable and accessible, and rooted in my Mexican heritage.”
Chopped Champion Victor Aguilera is the owner of Arepas En Bici, a Venezuelan pop-up which started in his apartment during COVID and gained national attention. He has been featured in EaterSF, the SF Chronicle, Good Morning America, and Telemundo, and recently completed a documentary on his life. His goal is to bring Venezuelan cuisine to the national spotlight and share his country’s rich cultural and culinary traditions.
