Restaurant expands business hours and menu to now serve dinner and alcohol
PHOENIX – Local neighborhood hangout, Jewel’s Bakery and Café today announced the debut of their new dinner menu. Although the new menu remains true to Jewel’s Bakery and Café’s roots of comfort foods, keeping staples like the famous Mac & Cheese, Chicken and Waffles and Green Chili Cornbread Waffles, guests can now expect to see a myriad of lighter, bites and tapas fare, frozen desserts as well as unique twists on American classics and high-quality ingredients.
Under the leadership of Jewel’s Bakery and Café Owner and award-winning Chef, Julie Moreno and Manager Ryan drove the culinary innovation for the new menu.
Dinner items include revamped classics like Beef Stroganoff and Red Wine Braised Short Ribs, but also fresh, unique plates including Buffalo Cauliflower “Wings”, the Portabella Philly Sandwich, and the Vegetable Curry. For dessert, guests can enjoy items like the Chocolate Molten Cake or the lighter Pear Croustade.
In addition, Jewel’s Bakery and Cafe offers a selection of local craft brews, cocktails, ales, and wine to complement the dinner menu, as well as a variety of coffees, teas and other beverages.
"From our locally sources ingredients, to fresh baked goods and made to order dishes, we have customers that travel from near and far just to dine with us and get the ‘Jewel’s’ experience," said Moreno. "We fully expect this will be the case with the new dinner menu and believe there are several dishes we’ve created that will excite guest’s palates with their first bite."
