The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch Unveils Renovated Presidential Suites
(PRESS RELEASE) As part of the continued enhancement efforts to The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, A Destination Hotel – which started with an $11 million renovation in September 2015 that transformed the property – the resort recently completed an entire architectural, décor and soft goods renovation to three Presidential Suites.
These sophisticated 1,375-square-foot accommodations received a large-scale design refresh totaling $150,000 to convert the spaces into an open concept with a modern Spanish inspiration. Interior highlights include elegant new textiles, bedding, furniture, original artwork, and a brightened color scheme in blue, grey, burnt orange, black, and white.
Each suite features a separate living room and bedroom with a king size bed, powder bath and guest bathroom, dining room with seating for eight, and wet bar along with floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony to take advantage of the dramatic golf course views of McCormick Ranch Golf Club. The nightly rate of the Presidential Suites is $850 year round, no matter the day of week or time of year
Named after Scottsdale historical figures, the Presidential Suites are called The Settlers Suite (after the city of Scottsdale’s founder Winfield Scott), The Founders Suite (after Anne and Fowler McCormick who built a ranch in the 1950s on the land where The Scottsdale sits today), and The Architect Suite (after Architect Bennie Gonzales who designed the resort’s original building and interior décor when it opened in 1976). The suites are located on the first, second and third floors in the resort’s McCormick Building, which was renovated in 2015. The interior design of the Presidential Suites were done by Scottsdale-based Studio V.
