All About Phoenix Cooks and Where to Purchase
I’m excited to announce my second book, Phoenix Cooks, a compilation of recipes from some of our best restaurants, chefs and mixologists. It’s now available on websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Nobles, at independent book stores and shops, and major retailers across the country (in June I shared a sneak peek video here). Due to COVID safety guidelines, we didn’t hold book signings, so to order personalized signed copies shipped directly to you or the recipient (great for gift-giving!), please visit my on-line bookstore here (UPDATE: AS OF 12/2023, PUBLISHER IS SOLD OUT AND I HAVE NO MORE COPIES).
The foreword has been written by culinary icon Barbara Fenzl (chef, instructor, author, and TV host) and the beautiful photos are by Joanie Simon and her talented crew- food stylist Ellen Straine and assistants Rachel Richards and Ben Davies. I worked with an amazing team at Figure 1 Publishing, and I’m so very grateful to Chefs Michael Mina and Beau MacMillan for their kind endorsements.
Putting a culinary spotlight on Phoenix and the gifted chefs who call it home is a dream come true, and I'm so grateful to all who have purchased the book and supported our talented chefs.
As of September 5th, Phoenix Cooks is the #1 New Release on Amazon in various cookbook categories, and in Amazon’s top three Gift Ideas for Cookbooks in the U.S., Southwestern.
Locally, Phoenicians have been able to purchase advance copies at restaurants and resorts since July. The featured 50+ chefs and mixologists received a number of advance books, with many currently offering signed copies for pick-up, delivery and/or shipping.
Each featured chef/restaurant receives a portion of the proceeds of books purchased through them, so it’s a great way to support them! The following locations have copies available for purchase on-site:
