On September 16th, the founders of the Arizona Taco Festival are celebrating National Guacamole Day with a special pre-festival event called ROCK THE GUAC! Twenty of the Valley's top chefs will be battling it out to take home the title of best guacamole and bragging rights. Two words that describe your guacamole: Deconstructed and creamy.
What is your inspiration? The avocado. I love the flavor and texture.
How many ingredients does your guacamole have? The avocado cream just has a few, six or so. I want the avocado to shine. But lots of fixings on top!
What’s your favorite thing to eat or drink with guacamole? An acidic, earthy sauvignon blanc and The Market's house-made Yukon Gold and sweet potato chips.
