Macayo’s Mexican Food Debuts New Beverage Program
Macayo’s Mexican Food Shakes Things Up with Launch of New Beverage Program April 6
Collaboration with Barter & Shake Results in Vibrant Cocktail Menu Featuring Hard Seltzers, Sparkling Sips and More
PHOENIX (PRESS RELEASE) — On Wednesday, April 6 Macayo’s Mexican Food, the longstanding Mexican food restaurant brand with locations throughout the valley, rolls out its new beverage program. The new selections are a result of a project that began with a review of the brand’s current beverage menu. From that research Macayo’s collaborated with Jason Asher and Mat Snapp of Barter & Shake, which presented Macayo’s with a multitude of innovative and enticing new beverage selections.
“It was a natural decision to enlist the help of Barter & Shake as we have worked with Jason for nearly a decade,” says Nava Singam, owner of Kind Hospitality, which owns and operates Macayo’s locations valley wide. “He has great experience and knowledge of our entire beverage program and is very familiar with what flavors our guests love, the skills and techniques of our bartenders and products that are complementary to our program.”
Macayo’s new beverage program encompasses all these things and is a comprehensive expression of extensive market research on trending flavors and drinks around the country and regionally. New cocktails to be included on the new beverage menu include:
Bee’s Passion featuring house gin, house made sweet and sour and passion fruit topped with Strawberry Citrus Smash Spiked Ice
Berry Cooler — house vodka, house made sweet and sour and raspberry topped with Lemonade Refresher Spiked Ice
Cantarito featuring Corazon Blanco, house made sweet and sour and orange juice topped with Ruby Fizz Spiked Ice

To complement the brand’s bright and bold new beverage program, Macayo’s is featuring beautiful new glassware, helping to make every sip a celebration.
