New Cocktail Menu Brings New Cutting-Edge Inspired Creations and Menu Favorites Together
PHOENIX (PRESS RELEASE) - The award-winning Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Lounge is bringing its signature artistic style to its renowned cocktail program, with its newest artfully designed menu rolling out, being recognized as Top 10 "World’s Best Cocktail Menu” by the Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktail.
The new menu, offering 17 new cocktails, has been months in the making, and was developed in collaboration with the Bitter & Twisted bartending team and proprietor Ross Simon.
This year’s menu design is inspired by classic literature, leading the team to craft a drink selection which mirrors the creativity, energy, artistry, and whimsical nature, in the signature style of Bitter & Twisted. The menu includes approachable, yet creative takes on flavors, taking the cocktails to the next level, with a focus on the latest sustainable practices.
The new menu includes soon-to-be favorites like the Jammie Dodger (peanut butter Cachaça, strawberry rhubarb syrup), The Giving Tree (RSVP cognac, calvados, apple liqueur and house fermented cider soda), the Bloomingdale martini (Roku gin, elderflower liqueur, crisp Rosé wine, house dry vermouth blend, bitters), and the Nibs & Bitters on the Negroni menu (cocoa nib infused Montelobos mezcal, Campari, sweet vermouth blend). The menu features a fun and informative cocktail map to help point guests in the right direction—Divergent (adventurous), Play It Safe (classics), To The Point (spirit-forward), and Refreshing (approachable crowd-pleasers). For those patrons seeking all of the pomp and circumstance of a craft cocktail, but less of a buzzy experience, over half of the drinks on the menu can be made non-alcoholic, with zero proof spirit substitutions.
Fans of old favorites will be delighted to find the Hall of Fame, which features 19 drinks that have stood the test of time. “We want patrons to be able to enjoy our signature cocktails that they may have memories associated with,” says Simon, “while also being able to explore new, creative flavors, allowing our team to continue to push the envelope and set the standard for a great drink. These cocktails not only look amazing, but are also aligned in taste, balance and quality.”
With great cocktails, great food is a must. The collaboration with popular Phoenix Jamaican restaurant, The Breadfruit, will continue, with popular dishes like Jerk Wings, Coconut Curried Tofu, & Sweet Plantains, with more mouthwatering bar bites in the works.
